UCLA Express Procedures During UCPath Data Conversion

On September 1, 2018, UCLA will begin their transition to UCPath. During this transition, there will be limitations on the access to the Express reimbursement system for new employees and limitations on updates to department proxy access for employees who have changes to their employee profile. Instructions are provided below for these users.

Who Is Impacted

New UCLA employees hired between August 31 - September 21
Current UCLA employees requiring change to their employee profile

When

8/31/18 - 9/21/18

New employees (hired between 8/31 and 9/21) will not be able to register as a new Express user during the transition. If a new employee incurs business travel or entertainment expenses during this time, they are asked to wait until Monday, September 24 to register in Express and submit a reimbursement claim.

Department Security Administrators (DSAs) will not be able to update department proxy access for current Express users that have a change to their employee profile during the transition period. The DSA will need to submit a written request for department proxy access changes to the Travel Accounting office. The request must include the full name and UID of the proxy and the department code(s) to add or remove proxy access for. Please email these requests to travelacct@finance.ucla.edu.

Questions or concerns can be directed to the Travel Accounting office.
