Global Entry Program for UCLA Business Travelers

In-person enrollment interviews for UCLA business travelers interested in U.S. Customs & Border Protection's Global Entry Program.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Global Entry interviews 

The UC Travel Center is pleased to announce that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers will be onsite at UCLA Wilshire Center, Suite 500 for the sole purpose of conducting in-person enrollment interviews for CBP’s Global Entry Program*.

Global Entry provides the following benefits:

  • Members are eligible to participate in TSAs Pre-Check program which expedites screening through TSA security checkpoints.
  • Allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to receive quicker clearance upon arriving in the U.S.
  • Is valid for 5 years.

The UCLA Wilshire Center On-site Interview is limited to the first 100 applicants on April 17, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. When April 17 is completely filled, April 18 will be available for the next 100 applicants. When April 18 is completed filled, April 19 will be available for the last 100 interviews.

If you and your immediate family are interested, please follow the 3 steps below. All Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Step 1 : How to Apply : https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/how-apply.  A non refundable application fee of $ 100.00 will be collected at time of application.

You must be conditionally approved to schedule an interview  A special enrollment center location and access code has been created when scheduling Global Entry Interview on April 17,18 and 19 2018

Note:  Once conditionally approved, you should log into the TTP website and click on the Schedule Interview button available on your dashboard. A list of enrollment centers will be provided, at the bottom of the page, “Do you have an access code?” should be selected. You will be asked to enter the access code in order to view the interview schedule. After the interview appointment has been confirmed, the status of your application will be changed to "Interview Scheduled."

 Step 3: Once you have scheduled yourself an appointment on the TTP site, please pay the non-refundable $20 service fee per person prior to your interview date at https://commerce.cashnet.com/GELI .On the day of your interview, do not forget to bring your valid passport and a second government Identification.

*Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program. Decisions to approve/deny applications are made solely by CBP. UCLA has no influence over CBP’s decision to approve or deny an application. UCLA is not notified of approvals or denials to applications. Applications are made directly by the applicant to CBP. Information submitted by the applicant to CBP is not shared with UCLA. UCLA does not have access to CBP records. Application fees must be paid to CBP at time of application submission, and are non-refundable.
