Travel.State.Gov: Jordan Travel Warning

An important alert from the U.S. State Department about traveling to Jordan.

The following message is from UCLA Office of Insurance and Risk Management:

For your information, please see below regarding the December 23rd U.S. Department of State travel warning cautioning U.S. citizens traveling to Jordan due to the recent terror threats.

Also as a reminder, please be advised that security benefits such as security extraction are suspended by iJET for: South Sudan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen. There is no prohibition from travel there, but security related costs will not be covered by iJet.

We are informed that iJET will still try to assist, but will not pay any costs which ultimately may be the department’s responsibility.

Thank you and safe travels,

UCLA Office of Insurance and Risk Management
