Airline Information

UCLA has negotiated preferred rates on Northwest and with selected international carriers.

These rates are extended only to UCLA business travelers and must be booked through the UCLA Travel Center via phone at (310) 206-2639, via the web using the Web Reservation Request Form, or via email (travel@finance.ucla.edu).

Because the terms of our agreements with these carriers prohibit divulging specific rates on the Web, please email the Travel Center (travel@finance.ucla.edu) for specific information. UCLA Travel counselors will advise you of these discounts when you make your travel arrangements through the UCLA Travel Center.

Q Northwest Airlines: At a Glance

Northwest offers discounts on selected fares to all destinations, including KLM's destinations.  Our contract forbids the public disclosure of these rates, so please contact a travel agent for details.

Major hubs: Minneapolis/St. Paul, Detroit, Memphis and Amsterdam.

Frequent Flyer Program: World Perks.  Members earn awards by flying Northwest, Continental, Continental Express, Alaska, KLM, and other Northwest partners.

Q Service Fees

Most commercial agencies impose a fee between $25 and $100 per transaction; a service fee of $25-$30 will be charged for each airline ticket issued by UCLA Travel.  The fee will also apply to exchanged tickets and refunds.  There is no service fee for hotel or car reservations.
